Choosing support
Finding the right place to begin
What services does Whole Warrior Solutions offer? +
Whole Warrior Solutions offers women’s counselling and wellbeing support, psychosocial recovery coaching, capacity-building support for NDIS participants, and inclusive workshops and groups. Support is trauma-informed, person-centred and shaped around your goals.
Do I need an NDIS plan? +
No. Private enquiries are welcome. We also work with eligible self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.
How do I know which service is right for me? +
You do not need to work this out alone. You can book a complimentary 15-minute virtual enquiry call to briefly discuss what you are looking for and whether our approach may be a suitable fit. This is an enquiry call, not a counselling or crisis-support session. If there is immediate danger, call 000; for crisis support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
What is the difference between counselling and capacity-building support for NDIS participants? +
Counselling provides a private, collaborative space to explore emotional wellbeing, trauma recovery, grief, relationships and life transitions. Capacity-building support for NDIS participants focuses on disability-related goals and practical skills such as emotional regulation, communication, boundaries, self-advocacy and everyday participation. Read about the Whole Warrior Solutions Framework™. The service delivered and invoiced must reflect the person’s needs, goals, funding and service agreement.
What does a psychosocial recovery coach do? +
A psychosocial recovery coach works alongside a person living with psychosocial disability to strengthen recovery, confidence and choice. Support may include working towards goals, understanding and using an NDIS plan, connecting with suitable services and building practical strategies for daily life.
Who do you work with? +
Our current focus includes women seeking counselling or wellbeing support and NDIS participants seeking psychosocial recovery coaching or capacity-building support. Suitability is considered individually so that the service is safe, appropriate and within our professional scope.
Is business coaching offered? +
Yes. Business coaching, provider education and the Warrior Community are offered through our dedicated professional site, Whole Warrior Network™ ↗.

I’ve booked—what happens next? +
Read our short you’ve booked—what next? guide for practical preparation, telehealth tips and what to expect in the first session.
Where are sessions available? +
Options include virtual appointments across Australia and face-to-face appointments on the NSW Central Coast. In-home or community visits may be available for NDIS participants or redress brokerage clients, subject to intake assessment, travel and availability.
How does telehealth work? +
Telehealth sessions are held by a secure video link. Choose a private place where you feel comfortable speaking, use headphones if helpful, and make sure your device is charged with a stable internet connection. We will discuss privacy and safety with you before or at the beginning of the session.
What happens in the first session? +
The first session is an opportunity to get to know one another, discuss what has brought you to support and explore what you would like to be different. You remain in control of what you share. We will also discuss consent, confidentiality, goals, boundaries and practical next steps.
Do I need to prepare or bring anything? +
No—come as you are. If you wish, you can bring your NDIS goals, relevant referral information, a list of questions or a few notes about what you would like to discuss. You do not need to tell your whole story in the first session.
Can a support person attend? +
A support person may attend when this is your choice and it supports your participation. We will confirm consent, privacy and each person’s role before proceeding.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule? +
Please use the cancellation and rescheduling terms provided with your booking and service agreement. These terms can vary according to the service and funding arrangement. Contact us as early as possible if your circumstances change.
NDIS, fees & referrals
Clear information about funding and getting started
Can I use my NDIS funding? +
Eligible self-managed and plan-managed participants may be able to use NDIS funding when the support is connected to their disability-related goals, included within their available funding and appropriately described in the service agreement. We do not guarantee that a support will be funded and recommend checking with your Support Coordinator, Recovery Coach, plan manager or the NDIA when uncertain.
Do you accept self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants? +
Yes. Whole Warrior Solutions welcomes eligible self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, subject to suitability, availability and an agreed service arrangement.
What if my NDIS funding is Agency-managed? +
Please contact us before booking so we can clarify the current service and funding options that may apply to your circumstances.
Are provider travel or kilometre costs charged? +
Travel, kilometres or other non-labour costs may apply to eligible outreach and community-based services. Any applicable charges will be explained and agreed before the service and recorded in the service agreement or Schedule of Supports.
Can a Support Coordinator, nominee or family member refer someone? +
Yes, provided the person knows about the referral and has consented to being contacted, or the referrer has lawful authority to act for them. Please share only information relevant to the referral when you complete the referral form.
Can an organisation make a brokered Redress-related referral? +
A referral may be considered where the person consents, written brokerage authority is clear and the proposed counselling is within scope. Read the Redress-related referral information. Whole Warrior Solutions does not claim National Redress Scheme endorsement and does not provide eligibility, application or legal advice.
What is a warm referral? +
With the person’s consent, a warm referral can include a brief three-way phone or video conversation between the person, referrer and Tania or the intake contact. A support person can also join if the person wants this. It can clarify practical needs and reduce unnecessary retelling while keeping the person’s own voice and choices central. Read how to make a warm referral.
What happens after a referral is submitted? +
After you submit the referral form, we review it and contact the participant or authorised representative to discuss consent, suitability, availability and next steps. Submitting a referral does not automatically create a service agreement or guarantee acceptance.
What if my funding or circumstances change? +
Tell us as soon as practical. We can discuss whether the frequency, delivery method or service arrangement needs to change. You remain involved in decisions affecting your support.
Privacy, safety & feedback
Your rights and professional boundaries
Is the service confidential? +
Yes. Your privacy and confidentiality are respected. Information is only shared with your consent unless disclosure is required by law, mandatory reporting obligations apply, or there is a serious safety concern requiring action. The limits of confidentiality will be explained clearly.
How are my records stored? +
Client and service records are managed through a secure practice-management system and handled in accordance with applicable privacy, record-keeping and professional obligations. Our privacy policy explains how personal information is collected, used and protected.
How do you manage consent and choice? +
Consent is an ongoing conversation, not a one-off form. We explain the service, check your understanding and support you to participate in decisions. You can ask questions, change your mind or withdraw consent, subject to any lawful or contractual obligations.
Can Bella be included in a session? +
Bella may be included in selected sessions only when suitable and agreed. Read about consent, dog-free alternatives and animal-welfare safeguards. You never have to interact with Bella.
What if there is a conflict of interest? +
Please tell us if you have a personal, professional or family connection that could affect privacy, safety or professional boundaries. We will discuss the situation transparently and may recommend another service when that is the safest or most ethical option.
How can I provide feedback or make a complaint? +
You are welcome to use our feedback and complaints pathway to raise feedback or concerns directly. We will listen respectfully and explain the available complaint pathway, including relevant external bodies when appropriate. Raising a concern will not result in adverse treatment.
Is Whole Warrior Solutions a crisis service? +
No. Whole Warrior Solutions is not a crisis or emergency service. However, for NDIS participants whose service agreements include after-hours support, or where this is requested and agreed, Psychosocial Recovery Coaching may sometimes be available in the evenings or at weekends by appointment. Other after-hours sessions are available only on request and by appointment. If there is immediate danger, call 000. For 24-hour support, contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 or visit lifeline.org.au ↗; or call 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732 or visit 1800respect.org.au ↗.
Still have a question?
You are welcome to ask.
Choose the pathway that feels easiest. Individuals can explore services and appointments privately, while professionals, nominees and family members can use the referral form with consent.
